Your first child always seems to blow you away. You watch them grow up in front of your eyes and it seems as if it was only yesterday when they were born. You take a deep breath and soak it all all in while you can because it seems as soon as they pass one milestone, rolling over, they are onto the next one… sitting up! The six month photo session is a perfect time to capture your little one’s big milestone of sitting up all by themselves. Mommie’s lil’ Summer Blossom… {Fayetteville NC Cumberland County Newborn Baby Photographer}

Fall is here and summer already feels like so long ago. I can remember being pregnant thinking, “I will never have another child in the summer time, this has got to be the hottest summer ever!!” Im sure this is how every mom feels when they are pregnant during the summer and it feels as if its 120 degrees outside! But it all seems like a blur after baby comes. We forget how miserable we were and all we have are the beginnings of precious memories with our new addition. Meet sweet little Emma Claire. Falling in Love all Over Again… {Whiteville NC Columbus County Maternity Baby Bump Photography Belly to Baby}

You find that special someone in life and fall completely and hopelessly in love with them. You think there is no greater love in the world than the love between the two of you, and then two pink lines turn that love in a whole new direction. I couldn’t help but have a little smile on my face while editing this maternity session. You could just see the love that dad has for mom… that he is her best friend, soul mate, and protector. They are expecting a bundle of joy any day now, and I cannot wait to meet their precious baby girl. She doesn’t know how much she is loved yet, but she will soon find out. And mom and dad are going to fall in love all over again with their new addition and themselves. <3

Unforgettable… {Southeastern NC Newborn Baby & Maternity Photographer Artist}

A baby’s first smile is unforgettable. A moment every parent is sure to remember when their heart just melts. Just a few weeks after birth, that quick, small curve of the lips signals the beginning of a developmental journey that transforms an innate, spontaneous offering into a complex social expression of joy and invitation. A smile is more than charming; it is essential to a child’s social and emotional future. Before 1 month of age, an infant’s smiles are predominately an inborn behavior, rather than responses to something he sees, hears or feels. These early smiles, reflexive and unrelated to social interaction, occur most often during deep sleep and the transitions between waking and sleep. It’s rare to capture a newborn’s smile during their photo session, but meet sweet baby Laura who couldn’t stop giving us smiles! Enjoy a few smiles from her session. <3

Lil’ Duck Commander… {Newborn Baby Photographer Wilmington Fayetteville NC}

We just love hearing stories of how parents meet and begin to form their little families. Just so happens we were part of this union from the very beginning. Meet Jayce Walker, our lil’ duck commander. Mom and dad were one of our first newly weds and as they celebrated their one year anniversary, not long after that they were blessed to find out that they would be adding a new addition to their family. Dad was beside himself to hear the news that he would have to start buying BLUE! Starting him early, dad is teaching him all about the things he loves in life, especially duck hunting. You never know, he may just have his own duck dynasty one day!;)Hope you enjoy a few images from Jayce’s session.
